What is Westbrook?
Nestled just inside the Spring Arbor Township line, Westbrook Townhomes is conveniently located to Jackson area shopping, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Whether you enjoy the big box stores or small shops, it’s an easy drive to both local malls and the downtown district. Similarly, whether it is dinner-and-a-movie or dinner-and-the-show, Westbrook is within a 20 minute drive to area theaters and Jackson College’s Potter Center.
A small complex of 50 units, the Home Owners Association (HOA) keeps Westbrook well-maintained. The HOA board of directors canvases the property every spring to establish priorities for summer landscaping and property upgrades. The HOA has replaced roofs on two buildings and performs annual maintenance of well pumps and tanks. The HOA is also in the process of replacing the fences throughout the community. Having one of the lowest condo dues in the area, the HOA is in a stable and strong financial condition with long term plans to resurface and line the parking lots.
Westbrook has one, two, or three bedroom units. Residents enjoy the quiet living occasioned by the bird sanctuary and frequent deer visitors. Occupied by singles, young couples, empty nesters, and young families, a wide range of residents have made Westbrook their permanent or temporary housing. The property offers limited playground space, but families will find many parks and hiking trails nearby. The complex is designed for home owners, but renting of the units is permitted with compliance to the HOA Bylaws.
